Foundation and Development
In the year 2000, SOMMER Poland was founded in Warsaw and has continuously developed ever since. Already in 2002, Wiktor Morawski, now Managing Director, joined the team, followed by Jerzy Mizenski, who became Technical Director in 2003.
Today, SOMMER Poland employs ten people and achieved a revenue of €6.5 million (PLN 28 million) in 2024.
Relocation to Pruszków
In 2008, the company moved from Warsaw to its current location in Pruszków. The following are located on-site:
- Office
- Showroom
- Conference room
- Service department
- Warehouse
Everything is in one place to serve customers even more efficiently.
Key Milestones
Among the most significant events in the company’s history are its participation in the Budma Trade Fair in Poznań (2003 and 2004), the conference for door manufacturers in Warsaw in 2012, and the 15th anniversary celebration in Ostróda. SOMMER Poland has also been present internationally, with visits to R+T and BAU in Germany and events in Las Vegas, Shanghai, Barcelona, and Kirchheim/Teck.
The 25th Anniversary
As part of the 25th anniversary celebrations, around 50 guests from Poland took part in a multi-day event in Germany. In addition to a training session on updates from the SOMMER Group, guests gained insights into production processes and visited the Mercedes-Benz Museum as well as the Spring Festival.
