The development has been specifically tailored to the current S3 operator generations with switching power supply, delivering significantly improved operational reliability.
Perfectly Matched to S3 Operators
The current S3 operators are partially equipped with a built-in slot for Accu-Packs and feature a 3-pin connector socket. The new Accu-Pack 0.7 S3 integrates seamlessly into this system architecture and ensures optimal functionality.
Important note:
The Accu-Pack 0.7 S3 (S14912-00001) is compatible exclusively with S3 operators and is not backward compatible with older transformer-based operators.
Two Accu Solutions for Different Operator Generations
Please note that there are two different Accu variants for SOMMER gate operators:
- For older operator generations (transformer-based): S10523-00002
- For new S3 operators (switching power supply): S14912-00001
The Accu solutions are not mutually compatible and must be selected according to the respective operator technology (2-pin connector “transformer” or 3-pin connector “S3 switching power supply”).
Technical Advancement for Maximum Reliability
With the introduction of the new control boards (blue version), the charging technology has been fundamentally optimized. A key innovation is the clear separation of the charging and discharging processes.
