The twist M / ML swing gate operators from SOMMER can be flexibly used for right- and left-hinged as well as single- and double-leaf gates up to 300 kg or 2.5 m width – featuring smooth soft start/stop, controlled force measurement, and therefore particularly quiet and safe operation.
Technical Data
For the Plus drives, the use of active safety edges is mandatory in accordance with the standards and directives listed in the declaration of incorporation, in particular DIN EN 13241.

- Operator can be mounted on very wide and masonry posts
- Operator can be installed at a steeper angle to the gate
- Opening angles of up to 130° are possible
- The steeper position allows higher force in the closed position, making break-ins or forced openings more difficult

Determine A-B dimensions and set end positions
The swing gate operator twist 200 E is used as an example to show how to determine the A-B dimensions and how to set the end positions. The diagram can be transferred to the swing gate operators twist M, twist ML, twist 200 EL, twist 350 and twist XL. The possible A-B dimensions can be found in the A-B dimension tables of the respective assembly and operating instructions. It is shown how the travel length can be extended and shortened with the setscrews.
