All-purpose swing gate operator for gates with a leaf width up to 2.5 m

The new twist M swing gate operator impresses with its compact design and versatility – for right or left stops as well as in 1- or 2-leaf operation, with controlled soft running which reduces the speed right before the end positions, gentle both on the gate and on the mechanism.

Easy handling
The 2-wire technology of the twist M allows easy connection to the control unit.

Practical functions
The walk-through door function can be used to open only one gate leaf and reach the property by bike, for example. This means you can still fully utilise the whole width of your driveway.
Moreover, with the automatic closing function, you can be sure that the gate is always locked behind you. The gate closes automatically after the photocell is driven through. The time for this can be set individually.

Intelligent lighting
The optional lighting element (S13745-00001) sets a further accent by illuminating the ground under the operator during movement.

Flexible installation
The large opening angle of 120° is particularly suitable for slanted driveways.

High temperature resistance
The operator was designed for extreme temperatures of -25 °C to +65 °C.

All-round protection
The control technology monitors the movement forces in accordance with EN 12453 by means of electronic motor monitoring, to ensure safety for persons and vehicles. At the same time, continuously tested and programmed force values detect environmental changes such as temperature fluctuations, mechanical wear on the gate, frost and ice and compensates for these. SOMMER also offers additional safety accessories, for example photocells, safety contact strips, etc.

Safety comes first
The high self-locking function prevents the gate being opened by hand. This prevents damage to the vehicle if a heavy gust of wind hits the gate.

Power failure? No problem.
The mechanical emergency release can be activated manually via a key. This ensures that the gate can be opened even in the event of a power failure. A further option is to unlock the gate from the outside via a Bowden wire.

Well thought-out
The location of the cable outlet on the underside avoids damage caused by the cable dragging on the floor. This enables a lower mounting height on the stable gate bottom beam. The result: better force transmission and more attractive design.
