The swing gate operator twist AM is particularly suitable for yard gates with extra large posts, because its articulated arm ensures that the swing gate can be opened and closed quickly at all times.
A yard gate operator that rises to the challenge of big gates
As the swing gate operator twist AM is particularly suitable for yard gates with large posts measuring up to approx. 60 × 60 cm, it is, of course, also capable of moving correspondingly large gates. It effortlessly opens and closes gates with a leaf width of up to 2.5 m and a door leaf weight of up to 250 kg. Moreover, the twist AM can be installed flexibly on the left or right. This means it can be individually adapted to suit the structural conditions on site.
If the twist AM is used in combination with a 2-leaf yard gate, it is also possible to install two of these swing gate operators, one as the main gate operator and the other as a secondary gate operator. The corresponding control unit is already integrated in the main gate operator and is designed to control up to two motors.
The soft run feature protects both operator and gate during the opening and closing movements. This considerably increases the service life of the swing gate operator and the gate system. It also means there are no annoying closing noises. With the automatic closing function, however, you can be sure that the gate is always locked securely.
In addition, the control unit uses our in-house SOMloq2 radio system. Thanks to 128-bit AES encryption and the Rollingcode process, interception of the code by third parties is pointless, as each code can only be used once.
Swing gate operator with reliability and functionality
The transformer and the control unit of the twist AM are already integrated into the weatherproof housing. The control unit offers numerous connection options, for example for additional safety devices such as photocells and safety contact strips. Convenience is also ensured, with an accumulator connection which allows you to control the operator via radio signal in the event of a power failure.
A photocell and a warning light can be installed to further increase the operational reliability of the gate system. Electronic motor monitoring ensures certified restriction of closing forces in accordance with EN 12453.
There is also an integrated automatic closing function. It can be set individually to close swing gates fully or semi-automatically. Shortening of the hold open time after driving through is also possible.
And by the way: when the twist AM is in standby mode and not moving a gate, it uses very little power (<0.5 W). This makes it not only inexpensive to operate, but also very environmentally-friendly.
Creating an individual swing gate operator
The twist AM can be expanded as required with accessories. These include not only safety devices such as photocells and contact strips, but also a battery pack. With the optional battery pack, you are optimally prepared for power failures. In particular as the twist AM is also equipped with a lockable emergency release. The mechanical emergency release can even be opened under full load (e.g. with pressure) with relatively low force.

Used to expand the memory to 450 transmitter commands. During service, saved data can be easily adopted for a new carriage.

Battery pack
In the event of a power failure, the battery pack supplies energy to the gate operator for up to 12 hours with a maximum of 10 gate cycles (OPEN/CLOSE). The battery pack is automatically recharged during normal operation.

The twist AM for 1-leaf or 2-leaf swing gates is a ready-for-use set which includes a handheld transmitter, photocell and warning light. Installation of the optional modules is easy and time-saving.
