Our smart packed shelf Telecody Courier is bronze winner in the category drives and controls for doors of the innovation award of the R+T trade fair.
The R+T digital made it possible for all exhibitors to present their innovative ideas and products to the global R+T network. A renowned jury of experts evaluates all new products and selects the best submissions at the official award ceremony. The winners were awarded the R+T innovation prize in a live stream.
How to equip your garage with the smart courier function
Our new Telecody Courier turns your garage into a smart package depot with ease. In combination with a SOMMER base+, SOMMER pro+ and the RDC Vision+ roller door control unit, the Telecody Courier can give the delivery person limited access to the garage to stow the package there securely.
The Telecody Courier is installed on the outer facade of the garage and then provides two access options:
- Via a two to eight-digit code that can be changed at any time
- Via the red button on the Telecody Courier
In addition to the individual access options, a custom opening height can also be set. This is defined for an opening duration of 3 and 9 seconds. Using an additional photocell, an opening height of over 30 cm can also be achieved.
As the Telecody Courier has the same range of functions as the Telecody+, with the exception of the parcel function, the owner of the garage can also store his completely separate access code on the Telecody Courier to open the garage.
