ENTRAcode+ code keypad for garage doors and Smart Home
Our ENTRAcode+ code keypad is an access control system with an individually programmable numeric code. When connected to the corresponding receiver, it allows you to control doors and garage doors as well as Smart Home applications such as lighting units and alarm systems.
Wireless radio code keypad in a surface-mounted version
Depending on where you want to use the ENTRAcode+, you can choose from three different product designs:
- Surface-mounted version
- Flush-mounted version
- Version directly recessed in the front door, garage door or fence post
All three offer the advantage that they cannot be short-circuited or bridged (tamper-proof).
The surface-mounted version is a particularly ideal choice for individual Smart Home applications in the outdoor area, as the flexibly mounted device is battery-operated and needs neither a power supply connection nor wiring. That means it can be installed more or less wherever it is needed.
Code keypad with high transmission security
The numeric code for the radio code keypad is set individually and consists of at least 4 and no more than 8 digits. The ENTRAcode+ uses our in-house SOMloq2 radio system for signal transmission. Bi-directional 128-bit encryption with Rollingcode ensures that transmission between code keypad and receiver is not only tap-proof, but also fast.
The perfect Smart Home code keypad for outdoor use
To ensure that the code keypad does its job as efficiently as possible around the clock and whatever the weather, SOMMER has equipped it not only with an illuminated keypad, but also with a sturdy housing with stainless-steel finish, guaranteeing long-term use. And of course, it is tested to protection class IP65. That means the ENTRAcode+ is impervious to dust and spray water from all directions, making the code keypad ideal for outdoor applications.
And it’s no problem if you want to use the access control system for more than one purpose and control the garage door operator in addition to the alarm system and exterior lighting, because the ENTRAcode+ can transmit up to 5 radio commands. This means you can use it for several receivers simultaneously, making the code keypad extremely user-friendly and ideal for use in a Smart Home system.
With the SOMMER SOMcom2 or SOMcom4 radio receivers, you can even programme a garage door operator from another manufacturer to the radio frequency of our SOMloq2 system and control and operate it with the ENTRAcode+ code keypad.
